Question about New Season seeding

The last time I played league of legends was Jan 14 of 2014 and I was in Gold 2 on my main I played 0 ranked games until Jan 14 2015. I played 10 games, won 6/10. I was put into Gold 3.

Do you think they have already applied in the current patch how the 10 seeding games will place you?

To me it looks like it did change.. also if its any help, I was matched with gold/plat pretty much every game, except for some others that hadn't been placed yet
