As a new player, this game feels great!

So I normally play Overwatch super competitively at a masters level, and i’ve gotten into league too now, (been playing a ton for like ...3.. weeks?). This is my first moba.. ever... and coming from Overwatch this game feels so balanced!

Like i get a ton of you guys don’t agree (with good reason I’m sure) but compared to OW this game’s sooo balanced it’s great. I play with a couple of my other OW friends and we laugh about how balanced this game is and how that makes it super fun to play. Only blatant problem we’ve figured is Neeko (as a whole).

I’m sure once I start my ranked journey (hyped) I’ll have some different opinions, but for now I’m just reading all the complaints and suggestions in the forums and thinking: “Wow, that’s a problem?? i had no idea!”

Anyway, keep doing your thing, I just thought it was really strange and kinda funny how experience with another game can change perception about this one.

Run from this heretic place, seriously Reddit is way better than the Boards, specially r/SummonersSchool will teach you anything you need to learn the game at it's base level.

Not a troll lol. Like I said I play competitive OW at a high level. This game seems way more balanced from the amount that I’ve played. I’m very sure I’ll find a bunch of flaws once I firmly get into ranked, but it feels way nicer than Overwatch from that standpoint. League actually gets patches! That already makes it wayyyy more balanced. Also less toxic cause no voice chat aside from groups. :0

So, have you gotten to deal with Akali shroud yet? Because you will realize, champions that can outplay are champions that are practically intentionally overpowered to a point of stupid.

Thankfully they did nerf Akali W fairly recently, and it's the nerf that was needed day zero of Akali rework, but w/e.

Also, try dealing with a Cho R late game where he has upwards 12k HP. Trust me, you're below 1.2k HP, he will instakill you with ult and get another stack, gaining like 850 HPish. And it will suck.

i have already dealt with tons of super hard matchups in a lot of games, including both an Akali and a Cho, but I also deal with the same type of thing in OW lol, so I stand by my statements. I feel like you’re trying to convince me to hate the game or that the game is unbalanced but I just really like LoL.

Both the game and the community are riddled with problems. As a new player you probably won't experience them that much, but trust me, getting serious in this game is gonna cause some issues. But maybe I'm just being paranoid, idk. You can still get a lot fun out of the game.

I’m sure i’ll find a lot more issues once i play ranked, but before then (and probably during) i’m just enjoying the flow. Overwatch is already suuper unbalanced and toxic (voice chat oof) so I’m sure I’ll still have a good time. :)

Well if you are having good times even from the start , then I guess you will enjoy the game At anyway people are not enjoying the game because they miss the old League Of Legends , for me as someone who started at the end of season 7 , I still enjoy the game so far But take it as an advice , don't play Ranked until you master like 2 or 3 champions in each role
