Client lag in champion select

I'm sorry if this is the wrong board to post this in, but ever since new champion select has rolled out, I've been having awful client lag specifically during champion select. The champ select timer counts down and gets stuck at 0 while someone else is doing their pick/ban phase, and then 40 seconds later i get kicked out and then told I dodged the queue. during this time I'm able to communicate with my teammates in champion select, browse the internet, etc. so it's very clearly not an internet problem. I don't have this problem in any other queue, admittedly I do have occasional lag spikes in other queue types, but nothing that leads to me getting stuck in a different phase of champion select until I dodge. I've repaired my installation multiple times and my dilemma persists, so by process of elimination the issue lies within the NCS queue mode. I'm really tired of getting forced to dodge (just lost my promos after this happening twice in a row) and I've seen multiple other people report having similar if not the same issue. Through the 10 or so I've read through I've yet to see any kind of real response except "Ox Idk/idc enough to help you, have you checked the FAQ Ox".
