Should Crit Fizz work?

So I've run the numbers on a Fizz build that has been built as a hybrid health/crit top lane with heavy focus on crits. I've been playing him pretty much since I've started and I've tried numerous builds with him and figured I'd try something different. Here's the build so far, any suggestions from more skilled players is welcome. This is obviously just a guide and will need to be tweaked during the game. I don't claim to know much about this game and I just play for fun.

I haven't yet done a comparison on more meta fizz builds and that should be coming later. Here are the numbers at full build lvl 18. AS: 1.04 Crit Chance: 65% Crit dmg: 722.5 Attk dmg: 289 Avg dmg: 570.8 DPS: ~594 Health: 3370

+ High movement speed due to item passives 218 damage item 3078 passive Enemy Slow passive on item 3022 Attack speed has high synergy with W

This is the damage output of each ability. Every calculation is done with the average damage amount [571], attacks can do more or less depending on the crit. 1st hit means with tri force proc. All damage was calculated without runes or masteries.

Q= 368

W(active)1st hit= 862 + %missing health (~+200)
W(active)Nth hit= 645 + %missing health (~+200)

W(passive)1st hit= 847
W(passive)Nth hit= 629

E=293

R=480

AA with R buff 1st hit= 947
AA with R buff Nth hit= 685
AA with buff and W 1st hit= 1034+%missing health

All of the normal fizz combos should work with this as long as you try to hit your slow on your E and remember to weave in as many AA's as possible to proc item 3078 and crit.

With this particular build, I would probably max my Q first because it scales off AD and then go for the W because it stacks well with auto attacks and attack speed. I could see this build being run as a late game build and anti tank shredder. I will run the numbers on other fizz builds again but I've done them once before and they stack up to this one fairly evenly. Thanks for reading and please leave any thoughts or suggestions below.

I've been trying to play fizz differently as well and have enjoyed item 3153 on him alot. Id drop the cleaver and get mr-armor boots depending on the matchup. But I'm not an authority. One thing youd see is less crit damage getting through though. I normally still get a zhona and deathcap and then get bork and triforce late. That's for mid though and may be too squishy for top lane.

Bork is a very nice item on him and I almost always build it when I'm going AD but I really like the cdr on the Black Cleaver. I'm a strong believer that fizz should have high cdr no matter what. That being said, MR boots is a very good choice always and the build could obviously be switched around for matchups. I also like to do hybrid builds like the one you described, I find a happy middle is great on fizz. Thanks for the input, I'll have to try it out and see what I think :)

That's a valid opinion
