To start things off, the bots they use to dispense their ''justice'' are completely incompetent, unreliable, and do more harm than good. Multiple times I'd receive 5 20 minute queue waiting periods for complete nonsense, because someone wanted to report out of anger. The very same game that I got reported for ''tilting/being negative'', I was being harassed all game by the duo that reported me, and in the report log, the section of chat they used as proof, is only evidence of the contrary. ironically, I got rewarded that game for being ''tilt proof'', from another player because they saw what happened, unlike the automated program lazy riot uses.   • they removed everything the other two player's typed, figures; but what I typed was not toxic, not the least. I think something needs to be done about riot's justice system because as it stands, it's complete garbage and the people that came up with the idea of having an automated banner, needs to be fired; it's the same shit as having to call a company and having to put up with those ridiculous automated voices, it's completely lazy on their end.

Other people being toxic to you isn't an excuse to be Toxic back. If you had just muted them and reported them at the end of the game they would of gotten punished.

Riot only cares about what YOU say. They expect you to have enough willpower to not engage. Just because somebody is flaming you doesn't mean you can call them an imbecile or flame back in chat.

Where to start with this post...

For starters, you do not receive 20 minute queues from being reported, that is from leaverbuster system punishing you.

Second of all, it is stated in Riot Support's Instant Feedback System FAQ that:

WHY WAS I PUNISHED WHEN THE OTHER PERSON WAS WORSE OR STARTED IT! Simply speaking, retaliation is not an acceptable or justifiable behavior. An argument between two players can easily create a negative experience for the rest of the players in the game with you. Regardless of the other player’s actions, this does not justify your own behavior. You alone are responsible for your actions within the game. If you encounter a toxic player like this, the best option is to simply report their behavior and move on. Reports are a vital piece to the puzzle. If you are not sure of what sort of behavior is reportable take a look at the Reporting a Player FAQ

So there is no justification that your chat logs were all defensive in nature and therefore should not be punishable.

(And of course they removed they removed the other players chat, this punishment is pointed at you and not them)

And lastly, it is clearly stated in the Universal Rules of the Boards regarding posting Summoner Names with malicious intent:

Naming and Shaming

  • If you see or hear about another person breaking the rules, in-game or on Boards, regardless of evidence, please send a ticket in to us at https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
  • Moderators will look for the following:
  • Personal attacks
  • Posts that accuse others of causing a negative in-game experience
  • Posts targeted at witch-hunting / naming and shaming
  • Posts accusing others of malicious activity
  • Posts that accuse others of cheating or using illegal services
  • Posts accusing others of trolling on the Boards

Hi Luc232,

First of all, this is posted in the wrong section, if you want feedback on why you were punished, you should repost your thread in Player Behavior. Because of this, I'm going to be locking this thread.

Also, as Shreddermen57 pointed out, in our Universal Rules it states we do not allow naming and shaming on the boards, so I've edited out that part of your post.
