What happened to the changes slated just before preseason? You've nerfed all of Syndra's items, her early game while buffing flat health and tanks in general across the board. We've only seen a decline of her winrate since Preseason began and assuming that this is the framework that we'll be moving into next year with in terms of items its going to be painful. Apparently I'm going assume that Syndra will see some love by March, but that's 4 months away. Am I supposed to get shat on by tanky dudes who just stack health and make me irrelevant almost instantly while you buff Azir, who has none of the drawbacks of Syndra w/ free waveclear, a better laning phase in general and a vastly superior lategame as it stands right now?

(I know I'm being a touch salty on the comparison, not trying to hide my bias)

I'm just sad becasuse it feels bad to feel powerless on such a demanding champion, especially when similar champions don't struggle nearly as hard.

All that aside what exactly are your plans for her going into the next season w/ updates? She is a bit directionless.

I don't get why you'd link Champion.gg in this thread when your intention is to discuss her being unviable. Her overall placement is 20/47, which is perfectly good for a champion as difficult as her.

I'd argue that she's the best she's been since her ridiculous nerfs now, and this is probably the first time she's been viable since before those nerfs. Her win rate is still poor but you can tell from her increased play rate this patch that her new skin is making people pick her up.

They said immobile AP champs are not getting looked at until next year. I think they are going to tackle a few more ADC champions before the AP adjustments.

Syndra typically performs very poorly at Diamond bracket (in my experience).

She is too vulnerable early game... and late game she doesn't scale hard enough to justify her awful early.
