Rift Scuttler nerfs teemo

The roaming of the Rift Scuttler bursts Teemo's mushrooms. While this does make sense mechanically and functionally, it does hinder teemo's ability to ward the river and river brush. This means that the map is now having a direct effect on a champions functionality. To be honest, I don't think that this is right. I feel that the Scuttler should not be able to proc Teemo's shrooms (or shaco boxes or other similar abilities). The map itself should not effect a champions abilities. Any thoughts on this or if it should or will be changed?

And monsters shouldn't intercept Nidalee spears. Or Maokai Saplings.

Never mind that Maokai and Shaco use those items to farm the jungle or anything. The map has ALWAYS affected champion abilities. This is nothing new. Teemo just has to work on different placement strategies now.

I'm sorry but minions do the same thing. Its just part of how his shrooms work. Not to mention, is anyone REALLY that upset that the crab takes a few shrooms for the team? IMO any nerf to Teemo is a step in the right direction. He's zero fun to play against.

The difference is that the monsters and minions are not pathed into these items unless provoked by a player, making their interference related to the actions of a player. And Mao and Shaco's ability used for farming is true, but unrelated. A teemo shroom is not going to farm the scuttler. It is far too tanky. I don't play teemo, or shaco - I'm not trying to be some guy complaining that I can't play support teemo now due to 4.20.

I'm just stating that with a roaming monster camp as a new element, it is possible to have unexpected and/or unintended effects to gameplay. If this was an expected or desired result, so be it. All good. However, if it is an unintended or undesired element to the game, it is something that warrants discussion. (Though mushrooms can be no fun to play against at times).
