Do you remember the old system? It was pretty much equal. Like every 30 minute match you got like 80 IP so it took like 8 30 minute games to get 640 IP and now games are shorter and it takes about the same time to get that much Blue essence just more games because games are shorter. And champion shards can make champions cheaper to get so it is actually quicker to get champions than before.

but u forgot that you have to lvl up which gets harder and harder

Leveling takes way less time than it used to also and eventually the exp caps. It is quicker to get all the champions now than it was before hextech crafting and blue response. Trust me I had all the champions while IP was the only method. Now I'm leveling up another account and it is so much quicker.
