This is really my only significant issue with the Veigar changes

The fact that Riot refused to acknowledge that this would be a nerf prior to putting it out on 5.4. Don't tell me you're "Waiting to see how he performs". This tells me either two things:

  1. You're too incompetent to understand just how large of a nerf this would be. I would rather not believe this is the case.

  2. You're willfully lying to us because you don't want to admit you rushed out changes to push your ideological design ideas on a champ that was not a real problem to begin with. I would rather not believe this is the case either.

This is the same reason people have still been belittling your nerfs to Irelia years ago--It's so unwarranted and detrimental that it seems unbelievable. If you're going to go this route, just tell us you knew it was a nerf, but needed more wide-scale play data to figure out what to nerf. I wouldn't be happy with it still, but at least I can still understand without having to believe you're either bumbling through your balance process or actively deceiving us.

Watching the patch rundown video, they know.

I think "waiting to see how he performs" is code for "we don't know how much we need to buff him."

Morello has already said that he should be getting something sometime in the next few patches. Don't worry!
