Braum: Ward Jump Mechanic. Varus: Speed boost with debuff at choice (toggled)

Going straight to the point. I think braum would benefit a ward jump from his W: stand behind me. But adding in 0.5 s silence to Q and R ability after to prevent offensive plays and tower diving. This allows him to ward hop so he can escape. I have noticed he has high death ratios in many games. The silence for a brief moment when jumping to a ward prevents braum players from going offensive for kills and gives enemy players to react when hopping. Hopping to a ward means an ally is not getting protection so it's a risky move so it prevents OP. Also, it has a high cooldown AND mana cost so it cannot be spammed. Basically, he can jump to allies or minions, but also a ward for escape purposes. Also, remember that the silence is only on ward jumping. Jumping on minions and allies is still the same. Just an added feature. Nothing is really changed.

The creator wanted a peeler who can protect ADCs and it's true he can do so. However, there's a better support who can peel better and is much more favoured and picked than braum. It's Janna. With her healing ultimate, knockback entire teamfight. Her tornado can knockup multiple enemies and she has built in movement speed in her passive. Generally, Janna is highly more picked than braum. Hopefully, braum is more picked with the feature added.

Edit: Alright so people are saying it's OP. It's possible but let's look at this way. Let's look at the worst case scenario: Braum decides to ward hop, use Q winter's bite then R ult the ADC who is somewhat caught out. How is that any different from Thresh? If a thresh Q hooks, E flay then R ult slow the ADC, how is that OP? He has more CC than Braum. Thresh is pretty balanced right now. So how is adding a ward hop mechanic OP on Braum has similar CCs? I know some say braum should be a peeler not a play maker. But leaving him like this isn't going to solve anything. Janna is already much better peeler so she will usually be picked more. Adding an offensive option allows a different approach. Of course, there are risks involved doing this and it's not recommended. The point of this mechanic is to escape the enemy not go aggressive. If it is OP, then adding a silence to the passive or few of his abilities for 5 seconds would help. And besides he's the most manly looking person who protected people from all kinds of things in the lore. I don't see why not. **Riot please respond or anyone. Need feedback ** For varus, adding a speed boost Active (40% movement speed increases for 2 seconds) to W: blighted quiver with the original passive in W ability. I mean his W ability is just a passive and it should be more interesting. To be balanced, when used it has a debuff of -35% movement speed after for 2 seconds. This is like Draven's W ability but now with a debuff effect after. This allows varus more chance to escape from bad fights and prevents people from going for offensive kills and being OP. Note that 40% movement speed is not very noticable. If you played draven before, his W ability has 40% speed active. Other than seeing the blue effect, in terms of speed not that noticable. Now remember, nothing is really changed except the player can choose to do this. You can still play without pressing W like the old varus.

Another option is to add a 2nd passive on the W ability. Increase movement speed 30% for 1 second after every 3rd auto attack on a minion or champ and can be toggled. Then there would a debuff of -25% movement speed if and only if E ability or R ultimate is used. This is to prevent OP by spamming slows and stuns after movement speed increase. This is very similar to Gnar's W passive except with a debuff. Also like vayne's W passive but going speed instead of damage proc. The ability is toggled. It can be turned off and on at the player's discretion so the player can still play like the old varus but just has the option. The point of this is to give more chances to escape from CC which there's a lot in the current meta.

Conclusion: I think there are not as viable champions compared to other supports or ADCs because they lack the ability to kite or escape (mobility). This allows them to be more viable and picked.

So what do you think? Why is Braum and Varus not used in LCS? Is there a better solution to make them more viable? Please post a better idea if you have or feedback. Appreciate it

Why? Katarina and Lee Sin can do the same thing, and they have a shit ton more damage than Braum does. Give him ward hopping, I say, supports can be mobile too!

Honestly if Braum had a ward jump it'd be too op. Imagine he throws up his shield then instead of jumping in front of his ally that needs the most peel he just jumps in front of the enemies doing damage. The silence is a good idea that wouldn't work.
