I just played Eve in the Jungle
She CANNOT survive any camp. Had a good leash, and then Smite passed. I ended up using my two pots for a Blue Buff, then I had to B, cuz of course I was low. Female Jungle champs where.

As many say. Frog to blue or golems to red (my fav). Use smite right away on the small camp for the sweet buff.
I've been seeing a lot of evelyn jungle in NA recently tbh elise and rengar best jungle champs
I started testing the new jungle recently and Eve is the one I am better at clearing camps. I usually pick up krugs buff and get the buff if i have a leash, else i solo krugs and i am fine. Eve has not a great need of blue and red, even if they help her a lot as always. I get E first so i can proc faster stuns, then Q and w and so on. I get the axe as jungle upgrade, even if dagger or rapier are fine too, up to your taste ^^
I try to get fine jungle routes on a custom game without a leash, as this is the worst case scenario and it sometimes happens! Eve really struggles if your team can't leash for you. I mean it somehow works and it's possible but that dosen't mean it's very good. She is still way better than Hecarim though - he is just straight bad.
I have no problems clearing the jungle as Eve, maybe its your rout/play style
Please check your runes and masteries to make sure they are set up for jungle too
Here's a tip
You don't have to be in melee range of the biggest jungle creep to use Hate spikes.
