The Dam Bots in Aram

I don't understand how many times we have to beg to get rid of the bots in Aram. Nor do I understand how you managed to make them worse than what they were. Now they don't even engage and if they do they don't even aim their abilities in the right direction. All of us that play Aram don't want them in there. What is the reasoning to keep them there? Then, you put 3 on one team against a full team. You don't even make it evened out. Please take them out of Aram!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is extremely annoying and it takes all the fun out of the relaxed gamemode. It even takes the fun out of winning when you are on the side with actual players and the enemy has 3 bots. You just sit there and feel sorry for them. You can't even surrender since the bots arent written to interact with a surrender vote.

Remember to rapport every single bot you meet in aram.

It kinda sounds like you think Riot's the one putting bots in PvP queues. It's not. Bots are player-run and used to farm xp, often for the purpose of selling accounts. Riot bans bots in waves to avoid tipping off bot-makers about what triggered the ban. You can help Riot refine their bot detection systems by reporting bots in post-game and explaining why you think they're a bot.

Botters aren't really hackers. Hackers try to do things normal players can't do; botters automate things normal players are allowed to do. If you've played practically any MMO and seen people just standing around advertising websites that sell gold, those are bots.

It's not a simple task to eliminate bots. For instance, Riot has to avoid unreasonably burdening actual players (e.g. captcha before every game would significantly annoy players). Furthermore, Riot has to differentiate between a bot and a really bad human player.

Yeah, 3 on one team is bad. But I had a game last night where I had 9 bots total... I was the only human in the game. At least I didn't have anyone to feel sorry for and it gave me first win of the day... But that's not a win I really cared at all about

First things first, Riot does not add bots to PvP games. These are the result of people botting (as someone has already mentioned) to grind XP without having to play.

Bots seem to be extremely prevalent in very low mmr matchmaking since I haven't seen a single bot in any of my ARAM games (I get matched with mostly gold/plat players) and it kinda sucks that mostly new players have to put up with them.

But yeah I'm just saying that this is not an intentional LoL feature for ARAM or any other queue, it's just what comes with online games with any sort of grind in them.

Just report anyone you suspect is botting and try to move on.

I guess you could also try to play some normals every now and then or maybe some ranked to get your mmr up a bit and hopefully you stop getting matched with so many bots.

So either way, they are bots...and we just want them handled. If I felt like playing regs... I would.That's my choice as it's my game I am playing. Why mention it if someone already has?
