Problems in Preason

So normally I keep my thoughts to myself on things like preseason changes as they are preseason so they are subject to change, but this time I just cant. With the new changes to items and runes, a few godawful things have arisen within the summoners rift. First, conquerer now I get why conquerer was changed and it fits the niche for bruisers pretty well and some assassins but its just given rise to mages building Rod of ages with conquerer and healing for outrageous amounts in combat. One ryze was healing for 300 damage per eq combo off a minion wave, with no increased healing. The only thing I can think to make this balanced is either to plainly take out the fact that it gives 2 stacks on spell hit so mages have to auto to utilize it or limit the two stack for melee attacks only for spells. The other thing is sanguine blade, the point of the item is to one promote some item diversity but like conquerer has just been met with all ad champions buying it and just being able to have 100% uptime on its ability, this just one doesnt make sense and two feels like it lacks testing or a target group within the game. I dont have the best ideas on how to fix it but, the attack speed % could be reduced or just itemized more so that assassins benefit from it and not everyone and their son. I like this game alot and realize that changes have to happen to balance and make every single champion feel fun, but at the moment I see the same things over and over again with people just taking advantage of what currently is broken.

Sanguine was really more for split pushers in general I believe, just so happens that a lot, if not all, assassins fill that space pretty well. I agree that a lot of things have been over tuned/nerfed/altered this preseason though. If players don't find that optimum play isn't to use/abuse the things seem to be broken it's probably going to be a nightmare to get some kind decent balance this season. It took all the way to mid season for a good number of players to be somewhat satisfied or just give in to attrition this last season, and I don't believe there were as many drastic changes, could be wrong on that part though, would have to compare those patch notes.

Conqueror is only active in combat, late game Ryze healing 300 health from minions waves has been in game for a while. It's mostly from ravenous hunter and a small amount from rod of ages passive. Also taste of blood if a champion got hit by him. Cassiopeia is the real abuser of conqueror.

IMO jungle exp and support items are a much bigger problem than sanguine blade or conqueror.

Any adc with a BT or any gunblade user with gunblade can heal this much off a minion wave, or more. Except that conqueror requires stacking on enemy champion to work.

The other thing is sanguine blade, the point of the item is to one promote some item diversity but like conquerer has just been met with all ad champions buying it and just being able to have 100% uptime on its ability

"Lets add an AD item that also has AS and lifesteal for almost 100% of the game except that one part when assassins are weak anyway, that would be great, right" Surprise, it is great. For champions that can abuse it.

people just taking advantage of what currently is broken.

Thats how every game works. People like winning more than losing
