Hello everyone, so I've been trying to find a champ to play in the top lane and these are the champs that caught my attention : Gragas, kled, pantheon,vi (I know vi isn't a top later but I saw this guy play her in top lane and rekt everyone) I just can't decide who to buy they all seem so good and fun. Help a brudda out (I'm also open for other suggestions :))

Pantheon is good... but if you really want a good top laner, choose Yasuo.

I mean.. I tried yasuo mid lane couple times I just get dumped on. I thought about learning and trying to master yasuo and kind of one tricking him but idk and sometimes when I face a yasuo they just end up feeding.

Panth is/has been really strong because of cheese, kled is a good toplaner as well. Gragas meh, vi not so much.

Top lane has been suffering from not only a cancerous counterpick meta, but also issues with class types and broken game mechanics and such. This new season promises a little relief from top laner (melee) syndrome but in the last couple years we have been getting dumped on because of all the ranged counterpicks and tank meta. It's not as bad as it used to be but if you don't choose a champ with some ranged attack you just get counter picked by a jayce/quinn or spam heavy gnar (I'm not even going to mention damn tank teemo).

So pantheon or Kled ? 🤔🤔

I'd say kled but I have a bias against panth. That and I think there are not enough skilled kled players.

I'm sure with enough time on the champ you'd get pretty skilled

Ooo how long have u been playing Shen for ?

a little before his rework; I personally am a strong advocate of "aggro" shen which strives to win laning hard with an aggressive summoner spell like exhaust or ignite pre-6, and use that lead to apply massive map pressure with your ultimate

Toplane in general is an unrewarding slog-fest in the new preseason, but Kled stands out from that list as an overall-great pick. He's got a potent turret-dive, strong ganks at lv6 and beyond, as well as being tough enough to 1-v-1 a lot of conventional toplane opponents. Champions that can shove a lane quickly and shift their attention elsewhere on-the-fly are almost-always worth picking.

Vi and Gragas could be useful on a situational basis but toplane generally isn't their forté, and you might struggle a fair bit when the matchup is rough.

Pantheon is alright, but he's not as busted as he was prior to the new season and if you get counterpicked it'll be absolute hell.
