Getting demoted from silver 5 to bronze 1

Hey Guys!!!!!

3 days ago, i finally made it to silver 5, YAY...won a couple of games in silver...then it all went nuts. right now, i'm in a losing streak..i've lost 8 ranked games in a row..i should probably stop playing ranked for a while (and i will) but i just wanna ask if i can get demoted back to bronze 1 and how many games does it take for me to get demoted, im rly scared since it took me a while to get to silver. I checked my mmr in OP.GG(not sure if this is accurate) and it said that my mmr was 1050...i know that it's low for a silver 5 which is scaring me more...

listen to Mysticman89 he is right is what he is saying.

While it is possible to drop to b1 from s5 it really is a feat to do so. Especially if you climb from bronze, instead of being place in silver.

It's not a set number of games, it depends on your mmr. In order to get demoted tiers, you need to have a mmr comparable to that of division 5 of the tier below you though, so you're fairly safe from demotion until you start having a bronze 5 mmr (which if you legit managed silver, shouldn't be a huge risk).

Ugh, it happened to me last season. I dropped from G5 back to do S1. I near cried :. At 8 loses, i'd say you're near pushing the limit

The trick is that you have to start winning though. Once you get too deep back into bronze MMR riot will put you with worse players, expecting you to carry, because of your tier. If you don't start winning, it will basically force a demotion.
