heavy framedrops since new patch

Hello there, has anyone experienced some really heavy framedrops since the new changes? it feels like PBE i can't really understand why the game is behaving like that. it can be my pc nor my connection as i have optic fiber with an octacore cpu and the game has always run smoothly when i played but since the new patch all champions move jittery and their cast animation does not show expecially when thing get messier. i happened to land a q with blitz in normal lane not many minions around and i didnt see i landed it until i was close to death.. i cannot play the game as for now and that kinda sucks but if i cannot avoid skillshots or understand if i land mine i am just gonna feed and get flamed/reported. is anybody experiencing the same? maybe i have compatibility issues? thanks for your feedback

Yeah it's a pretty widely acknowledged problem now. There are also a lot of cases where the game will ignore movement and attack commands.

Riot said they're working on a fix for the next patch coming out on Wed.

It might be a problem with some particular animation or even something to do with a non-graphic effect if the whole screen is freezing.
So in that video SSOSS, posted, i noticed that it seemed to occur the moment that zyra's ult would've otherwise triggered it's knockup.

With riot's coding, it's possible it could be something to do with knockups, but that seems less likely than something to do with a rune that zyra had, possibly in combination with the knock up. That said, I've stopped playing, so i really can't pinpoint any kind of trend based on experience.

This happened to me today. I'm running a GTX 1070 OC card with 32GB Corsair RAM / i7 3930K SSD system... my frames went from the normal 250 uncapped to 45fps during a game this morning.

I even set it to locked frames 60fps and lowered everything to super low and my frame drop continued throughout the game anywhere from 54fps down to 30fps.

First time this has happened to me in a very long time.

only you buddy, starting of games with 298 fps and it tingles to the usual 151-196, only getting crazy pings.

and yes im running on super low with no sound and a crappy graphic card (geforce 9600gt)

damn, i feel your pain bro! I had a capped at 144 fps option on and had good times playing league until today. Now every game something eats my fps as it goes from 140 to 30-35! I don't even complain about 1-2 second freeze spikes in teamfights
