Thanking Riot for New Soraka

I have over a hundred games with old Soraka. I played the new Soraka a bit and decided I didn't like her and quit. Just tried her again and have to thank riot for making her so much better.

The heals are real.

The Q and W are really nice. The passive and the E just don't seem right to me, thematically to the champion.

To me she doesn't feel powerful, but she does feel viable and fun.

I do like that she's got this martyr theme in her kit now to reflect her lore, but I find the Q incredibly difficult to land from long range and the E is super easy for opponents to avoid the binding effect. Even so, I am enjoying the new Soraka despite being very skeptical originally. I mean, I do miss being able to infuse mana into teammates, but I just started picking up the Clarity summoner spell instead and I'm fine with that.

Also, the passive is quite a nice touch to get to your teammates in time to heal them, even if the heal range is quite a bit shorter. I do think it's funny, though, that Riot didn't like how much Soraka could keep people healed before, and then after the rework, she can keep the team healed a LOT easier due to the shorter cooldown. Yeah, needing to hit enemies with Q to self-heal somewhat limits Soraka's healing potential, but she's still overall able to keep the team alive better.

I hate the new soraka I loved the old one though. I loved what her old Q did.

I miss her point and click silence. So many people seem to avoid her new e.
