This new placement system
"Get ready for a swarm of people telling you about MMR and how low Elo you are. I think its a joke of a ranked system and you shouldn't have been placed Bronze 5. Not saying you should be placed Plat or Diamond but you shouldn't be bronze if you won 8/10 games and they claim to base Ranked off of win/lose, than it shows some major flaws in the system." - Tocosrevenge
I have been reading many players issues with this system and just wanted to get my 2 cents in, as this seems too common to be logical. In previous seasons I was Gold 4 and this past season Silver 5. After going 5/5 in this seasons placements, I was placed in Bronze 5. Listen, I would understand being placed in ANYWHERE from B2-S1. But really? I go from being a middle ranked, average player and now I'm dropped to the literal bottom of the bucket? Yeah, I know this means I have nothing to lose, but is it even worth it anymore? I've been around this for 3 years now, and it's literally just gone downhill. They seem to cover up the unbalanced gameplay, enforced meta, and completely broken champions that will never be nerfed, with "Skin sales", "New season bundles", and new champions being put out faster and faster. I think it's safe to say Riot stopped caring about the player, and started caring about the money. I mean, next patch we'll have our own CS:GO crafting table they can profit off of more than ever. All in all, I simply do not understand how this many players have been dropped to these divisions when this system is based on "previous performance" and "placement matches." Riot has really blown this season to shit already imo. I understand some people being displeased with their placing, but this large of an upset needs to be voiced. So, fellow League players, if you feel like you've been jipped of an at least respectable placement, comment below. We will win this fight. (chanting starts) Fix Ranked. More LP. Fix Ranked. More LP. FIX RANKED MORE LP.
