The Need for Proper Practice Stages
I wanted to bring up the fact that there really aren't any arenas/mini-games that focus directly on teaching players the intricacies of the game and I think that would greatly benefit the average player. I have been playing since season 3 on and off but I am a teacher and I really find there is a lack of teaching tools in this game.
Going to play against bots, while it can help basic mechanics, is just a super long process -> Picking map, champs, loading, buying items, waiting until you're allowed to walk to lane, waiting for minions to spawn, waiting for minions to get to lane so you can practice, and finally having to reload the game meaning going through this whole process over and over. (Kind of a waste of time IMO)
What I would like to see is a practice mode that can help people that are trying to work on a particular aspect of them game i.e. csing, trading, wave control, map awareness, communication, objective importance, ward placement etc. that is time efficient to make everyone better faster.
I will use csing in my example here for this mini-game, What I envision is a game mode that lets you choose your champ, runes, masteries, and starting items and then puts you right at the tower in lane with the minions about to clash. If you mess up there's a nice restart button that eliminates the need to go through the lengthy process of reloading a game. This way the learning is also step by step starting with no enemy champions and building to a level that has you dodging skill shots like a madman while still trying to get perfect cs. You can also build a section that sends full health minions to your tower without your minions at all so you can perfect the art of csing under tower. Higher levels of this could be sending varying health minions into your tower.
Each mini-game would give you the option to choose a tier which would change the success parameters meaning if you choose bronze, 50% cs is passable while if you choose challenger, you can't miss a single cs. This would also give RIOT the ability to add a little tag to the player card somewhere showing the level each player has achieved in these mini-games and potentially a higher prize for each skill level you complete ending with something like a skin for completing all of the games at the challenger tier.
I feel this will be a great way to help bring up the level of play and to really show someone where they are struggling. Let's be honest many players find it difficult to assess their own games and find out what part of their game needs the most improvement.
Sorry for the long-winded thread!
