A smart ww will destroy yi. All he needs is one other person with him, ult yi and i promise yi will be dead before ww's ult is completed. Yi is incredibly squishy and the only time i see him get pentakills is when the enemy team is full of the kind of players that blow their ult and all their summoner spells in order to chase someone across the entire map. I'm tired of people who cry about Yi calling him easy and OP because he's not, he is hilariously squishy and has serious mana problems. Surviving as master yi requires knowledge on when and how to enter a fight, and you really need to get the timing down on alpha strike and meditation, otherwise you will get vaporized in teamfights before you can get your second basic attack down. The people who cry about Yi are the people who spam their entire ability set on the enemy tank just because Yi is nowhere to be found, and then cry about Yi being OP and impossible to defend against when Master Yi inevitably shows up a few seconds later and gets a quadrakill becuase your entire team is on cooldown for all their abilities. But at least you killed the enemy tank, right?
If yi is such a noob champ why don't you try playing him then? He's 450 IP so you can afford him, and he is a strong jungler since the current meta favors sustain. Then you will see that master yi is actually quite difficult to use against anyone but the most incompetent of league players.
Wanna play a real noob champ? Go play
. He's designed for players who are so bad at keeping themselves alive in a fight they need an ult that makes them impossible to kill, even though he is innately tankier than yi. Don't even get me started on the fact that unlike master yi, tryndamere doesn't have mana problems, has 30% free crit, and has a damaging dash move that functions as both a gapcloser and an escape, along with a semi-reliable, yet extremely strong slow (master yi has no CC whatsoever).
Akali is broken because she has a huge amount of built-in spellvamp and hybrid damage, which gives her ridiculous sustain and makes it a headache to itemize against her damage. Zed is broken because he can autoattack you for 700 physical damage AFTER he pops an ult that is capable of killing tanks in one cast.
Yi is not broken, you just don't know what you are doing wrong and instead of learning from your mistakes or playing him to discover his weakness, you would rather jump on the "Yi is an OP noob champ" bandwagon. You say others refuse to play until yi gets fixed? Good riddance, players like them who whine about Yi are players who don't care to try different strategies, I don't need them on my team and i'm happy they are out of the matchmaking pool.
