Why is Akali not reverted at this point?

To start this off, I'm a fairly casual player so my opinion doesn't really mean much. I'm also a support main. But, I do enjoy playing assassins sometimes! Akali being one of them. But playing her now doesn't even seem fun anymore?

Like I understand that she's a problem, especially in high elo, to balance. But at this point, I'm pretty sure every single ability of hers has been nerfed and it just feels.. Really weird to play now? It's just not even really fun to pick her anymore.

I'd honestly rather her kit just be reverted if they're having to nerf all of it. Idk I'll probably get a lot of hate for this. Thoughts?

Akali main here. Someone who played Akali before her rework. When someone asks me which lane I play I answer with 'Akali'. This kind of Akali-main.

I can say: The 'new', now more than one year old Akali, feels much more dynamic is way more fun to play than the old one. Fist Of Shadows was way to predictable in her mechanics and just boring.

old akali was get out sustained and die to her all in automatically and there's absolutely nothing you can do it due to it being point and click

her rework was fine they just can't get the numbers right

I kind of prefer her new W because she has to actively move around in it. She could more reliably pick a spot and just stand still until her next cooldown when off before. She felt a little weird at first, but after I played her a few times, I was endeared to the new kit. Wish they'd do something about her ult, though. Just kind of feels like an Ahri ult with less utility. I feel like it needs some identity. Maybe bring the stun back and hack some of the damage off, but then she's an assassin, so that doesn't really make sense...

Make her first R point and click with a .25s stun and she will be unbroken in pro.
