If you get support

Don't just stand there doing nothing. Supports are the most active people I've seen. Doesn't matter if they are poking or warding or saving their ungrateful children supports are one of the most active players. So if you just stand there and think you're losing lane because of your ADC... YOU have no respect for one of the most challenging roles in the game. Sincerely your ADC main who loves all you support mains if you yell at me cause I know I did something stupid.
