Grasp of the Undying: suggested change

Would it be possible to drop the combat condition and simply give Grasp of the Undying a simple 4 sec CD. As it stands now it is clunky to use bottom lane where to keep the condition up you have to keep hitting minions which isn't always a smart course of action for supports. It will work the same top as it does now, and make it more viable for support tanks to take bottom lane.

Now you have to be in combat for 4 seconds. This is really hard to do against bullies (there is a lot of them) during the early game when you are trying to play Dodge the burst. The time when it pays to build up the passive health gain as much as possible.

It is especially hard to do if I am playing in the support position when to keep in combat for the proc it requires you to more or less push the lane.

TLDR: Drop the combat condition and simply give it the 4 sec CD. It'll work the same top as it does now, and make it more viable for support tanks.

? That's not true; You always had to be in combat for at least four seconds.

Um.....did I miss something? Because old Grasp required you to be in combat for 4 seconds as well. Functionally, the two abilities are nearly identical, and I haven't noticed the slightest difference in game

You are just bad and clearly don't understand the game. Grasp ALWAYS WORKED LIKE THAT. There is nothing new here except for the permanent 5 life gain.

Yikes, my bad, no need to be so testy. I admit I was wrong. I only ran grasp in top so I never noticed. I ran stone born bot lane for obvious reasons (now a minor rune yay).

Premise still remains, make it usable bot lane.
