My first and only rant about champion mastery and grades

I'm in Bronze II, and I was playing a game as Jhin, who is my best ADC. I did extremely well, and I had a perfect game until my good friend DrMundo decided to jump on me. We ended up winning the game, and I finished 32/1/9. I did the math, and I participated in 63.1% of the kills, which is almost two-thirds. I had the second-most CS in the game, as well. Now, I just want to ask a simple question:

How is that not at least an S-?

I got an A+, and maybe I wouldn't be as upset if I did not need only one more S- to get level 6 Jhin. But I don't see what more I would need to do in order to get an S. And from what I've read, it does not seem like anyone does.

Please help :(

It's comparative. Enough other Jhin players have done better than you did that match that it wasn't S worthy.

I don't know how different factors are weighed or anything, but I can tell you that your grade is based on how people do with Jhin, not just how you do.

10 wards placed over a 42 minute game, that's going to drag you down a ton. Seriously, use a ward more than once every 4 minutes.

215 CS over a 42 minute game is also pretty low, even for Silver/Bronze levels. Should be closer to 300 at least.

The system cares less about kill hogging and more about the small details that you can be consistent on game after game.

Yeah, you're right, it's about 9 hours since and i can honestly say that besides damaging champions, I did pretty poor. Oh well. Thank you though, you're absolutely correct.

Probably the CS, damage to towers, etc. Jhin is super FOTM and a high performing ADC so it is incredibly hard to get an S grade with him, since jhins everywhere have amazing KDs, cs, and winrates right now.
