Omnistone suggestion?

Hello there,

I tried new keystone, but it feels superweak no matter which champion Im using. Naturaly I tried it on versatile champions like Jax, Pantheon, Akali, Corki, Ezreal, Sejuani (of course) but I coudnt find much success with that rune. It seems like the rune itself isnt really good at all. Too much rgn, too much risk for low reward. Its dream to get HoB followed by grasp or fleet on lv1 solo top situation, but with all the meta builds and guides, There are barelly any champions with more than 2 viable keystones. Prove me wrong or give me name of champion who is going to use this keystone on competitive level and will have success.

Its more like meme keystone and I can imagine gamemode where everyone would use omnistone with randomized masteries but thats about it. That would actually be hilarious but honestly, why would you use randomized keystone over that one which makes your champion somewhat strong? And I was thinking a little bit and I have suggestion about this new so called keystone.

How about...

Prototype: Omnistone PASSIVE: Periodically grants a single use of another random keystone from secondary path. 8 − 4 (based on level) second cooldown between using a keystone and gaining the next (12 − 8 (based on level) seconds for Ranged role ranged champions).

Basically it means for example you have Omnistone which mean main path is Inspiration and second would be Resolve. In this case** Omnistone** would randomly give you either Aftershock or Grasp of Undying or Guardian.

Thoughts?

Interesting idea. The main problem I see with Omnistone at current is that it does a great job of helping to win laning phase by spamming keystones, then an awful job in mid to late game when roaming and team fighting.

When you are 1v1'ing a lane opponent it doesn't even matter what it switches to so as long as you are getting value from it, because you wouldn't likely have another keystone back so quickly. For example, Electrocute even at later levels has more than double Omistones cool down. So, at that point it doesn't matter what keystone it gives you as long as you can use it right then and get advantage from it. Even Tempo on a mage is fine if you just layer in some auto attacks.

Things get sticky when after leaving laning phase a team fight breaks out. You want the most optimal keystone to affect that fight. You don't want to randomly get aftershock with only one way to proc it, or predator and already be in combat etc.

Makes the entire keystone an early game keystone with little late game value, and I have no idea how they intend to balance that. Win lane off free keystone procs, but have a sub optimal keystone for the rest of the game. I'm not sure what champion would make that trade off. Kayle maybe? Especially if she is just trying to survive until her power spikes.

I think it should grant you the ability to choose 3 keystones at from fountain at the start of the game and you switch between those three periodically through the game (and the can only be chosen at the start of the game)
