Damage Supports
I don't know how the rest of the community feels about this, but in my eyes this topic is a large problem in league of legends.
When I started playing this game the "support" role was a champion that helped support their team without massive damage, usually using CC or healing them. A support was someone who could tank for your team if your top laner decided to not go tank.
But nowadays these options aren't as viable, in fact league of legends has completely strayed away from the original "support" champion. I felt like Brand support was okay, and somewhat was reasonable, but this was just the start to what I believe is a problem.
I was hoping Riot would turn this meta back to normal, but no. They decide to release a champion that can pentakill your whole entire team, and has a free elder dragon buff at level 6.
Okay, Pyke was a weird release. Obviously Riot was catering towards people who don't want to play a real support.
Well, I can just ban Pyke I guess.
Skip forward a little bit, Riot adds a support champion that attaches to the ADC, literally being braindead do nothing but spam a heal all game. Yuumi is another champion that is catered towards those who don't want to play a real support.
This is the way Riot releases their champions to keep people playing the role.
But this time, it honestly pissed me off, when a champion was added to the game. When this champion could be in both the ADC and the Support tab.
Riot, please make a real support champion.
