Ok, so im hyped about season 7. Me and my friend area hyped for our placement games. I go 10-0 and he goes 8-2 and we get silver 4 and silver 5. i worked my butt off to go 10-0 in my placement games and i get silver. i dont think this ranking system works and i believe it needs fixed. It hurts to see my effort just go to waste.

Nyaboron2 votesI ended D4 and im fully prepared to start from Gold 2 or something. Going from silver 4 to silver 3 is literally nothing.

Quil Evrything1 votesThe only time placements put you in gold (if you werent gold+ already), is if you have NEVER ranked before. Otherwise, you start from where your prior MMR is at.
Side comment: yeah i agree with you though, the ranking system is broken: the concept of doing "placements" at the beginning of every season, where the sole purpose is pretty much to try to throw you further down the ladder, seriously should be thrown out.
