I'll have to agree with you. I love both, but find myself playing katarina more simply because it takes more thought. With akali, you don't have to worry about interruptions, and you have a safe haven in your shroud as long as they don't pink ward or red trinket you. The only downfall to her kit is her energy, but even that becomes obsolete mid game. Akali also has a mean little passive giving her bonus spell vamp, and last, her cooldowns plus ultimate allow for her to get chase kills a lot easier. With katarina, unless the enemy has no stun, charm, fear, or other interrupt, then you're only able to use her high CD qwe, until you find that right moment where your ultimate will do at least half your damage. Where kat excels at, akali does as well. With kat getting kills or assists, her cooldowns drop or refresh, meaning she can use her qwe more. Well, akali has such a low CD on her ultimate that, kill or not, she'll be crucial the entire fight. Akali is stronger in terms of single assassinations consecutively, where as I would prefer kat with her insane team fight oriented aspect while still carrying a deadly assassination kit. Tl;Dr - kat takes more skill than akali in terms of chasing and team fighting. Her 1v1 is also not as consistent as akalis. Where kat requires proper timing of her ultimate and get passive to get the most out of her kit, akali can just go head strong with little to no thought.

Honestly its fairly dependent on the opposing team's composition as to which champion ends up being the stronger choice. Both champions have significant weaknesses that opponents can use against them.

Akali's shroud is the classic case of "Just pink it!" for a jungle gank to shut her down pre-6th during her fairly weak lane phase. Katarina's ultimate gets canceled by fears, knock-ups, silence, stuns, taunts, and any displacement. Get an opposing team with at least three sources of CC with those and competent players and Kat's ult isn't going to be anywhere near as deadly as it could be.

Akali has insane amounts of sustain from her passive once her gunblade is built and can gapclose multiple times to blow up an escaping priority target. Katarina fares better at diving in and out via Shunpo to hit targets of opportunity for assists to get her resets.

Akali has an energy system to deal with, so she cannot spam the moment skills come off cooldown the same way Kat can.

However it is considerably harder to shut down a snowballing Akali than it is Katarina. Akali can drop the shroud and dis-engage with a move speed bonus to get the heck out while having at least a second to pick how she wants to juke before they drop a pink or upgraded sweeper and her high sustain gives her an edge at being able to recover health extremely fast on top of having better health scaling than Kat. A caught Kat either manages the Shunpo to safety or goes splat if the enemy team lands a couple CC.

Akali also forces the enemy team to spend additional resources to be able to deal with her at the team fight phase. While not a direct source of power it can make a difference for the rest of your team.

So in conclusion? Against a team with low amounts of CC Kat is better. Against teams with a fair amount of CC Akali is considerably better. The other consideration is AoE spam from the other team... Kat can Shunpo out of the area entirely while Akali has to hope the shroud has them miss most of it. Beyond that its more about your lane opponent and roaming. (And Akali is a safer first pick than Katarina is, not least because one to two kills can bring you back into the game far faster than Kat and your ult can't be canceled at the drop of a hat. Also that sustain!)

Akali has insane amounts of sustain from her passive once her gunblade is built and can gapclose multiple times to blow up an escaping priority target.

Akali's magic on-hit damage doesn't benefit from life steal or spell vamp, so it's only the extra boost to spell-vamp that gives her more sustain.

Considering all AD assassins can build life-steal stuff like Hydra or Kingblade or Bloodthirster (and most assassins are AD), Akali's sustain isn't very noteworthy compared to other assassins. She gets decent sustain once she finishes a major life steal item, other assassins get decent sustain when they finish a major life steal item.

Katarina is stronger. Just play them both mid lane against the same champions, you will see. At least Akali has super weak poke pre-6

Make it simple?

Akali She isn't that strong outside of her little cloud. Plus she can be shut down quite easily, and can't take on a whole team with little effort. Most matches I play against her I have little to no frustration with her.

Katarina She is just the strongest champion in the game. Her R makes her unstoppable in team fights, especially when she can regain it again after killing 3 people which isn't hard to do. Then her ricochet ability is extremely frustrating to deal with. Just toss it at a minion and hit everyone around it.

I mean just look at that R, 750 damage per player over 2.5 seconds, then just blink to the nearest person smack them down, flash to the other smack them down. You got a Penta on your hands without doing much at all.

Akali Is Strong, very strong actually, but not nearly as strong as Katarina .

TL:DR, 1 takes 0% skill, while the other takes atleast some skill, and can't take on a whole team with little effort.

Which is Stronger Kat or akali (PROPER REASONS GENERAL TERMS ENGLISH PLEASE)

Putting "proper reasons general terms english please" in all caps and awkward grammer makes that seem like an oxymoron.

Also not sure if trolling or serious with that.
