Error 004 - Need Assistance

I've been having a problem patching league since this morning and have not been able to find a working solution. I have done a reinstall, repatch and multiple goes with the Hextech Repair Tool. I have added LoL to the exception list for suspicious files in Sophos Antivirus (but it still puts it in quarantine). When it DID allow me to patch the game it didn't open the loading screen after going through champ select. There was only the client open with the reconnect button unresponsive. Again, I have tried all sorts of things and nothing is working. Please help! I can include my logs but I don't know which ones apply, so if someone tells me I can show them. Thank you for reading and I hope you can help me

  • and yes, I have set the client to Run as Admin. I would like it if someone could also help with the actual league GAME problem I am having too, because even if I do get LoL to patch it doesn't matter if I can't play the game Thanks!

Update - Reinstalled with the Hextech Repair Tool instead of manually. It is now repairing and getting into first-launch patching. We'll see how this goes... And, of course, after waiting for a long time it goes back to Error 004 after getting to 100%
