i can pretty easily beat high gold, without much effort at even gold... its only after they start killing my teammates that they start to become and issue.
as long as your teammates arn't feeding u should do fine, (assuming you are actaully silver 3 and no a new player place into silver) if your a new player... you're not even silver.. you're bronze.
regardless of mechcnial skill u may have when u start it takes well over a year to full understand the matchups and have enough game knowledge to be considered "silver"

I can understand the frustration of dealing with people who are higher ranks, it definitely on paper does not seem fair. If you're playing against them the system might've determined you were ready and maybe at that moment you just weren't prepared for it. Sometimes the game just does some real whack matchmaking that feels really BS. good luck on the next set @OP. as for you swiftkitten, difficulty is a matter of perspective. You may not find Gold players difficult but others will. Currently with how my own ranked games are going i don't feel as if Plats are hard, but to others Plat may be insanely difficult. As long as your teammates don't feed generally stands for any game.

Chances are those Golds you were against had MMR of silvers, or your team had MMR of Golds.

those aren't real golds.
A lot of people got lucky win streaks or got boosted way above their real MMR. But the way demotion works is that you can stay at around Gold 4 or 5 while having a low/mid Silver MMR. So you're actually mostly playing against silver players with gold badges.
