Be nice to your support. I really don't like abusive ADC's.
Work on farming at least 70-80+ CS every 10 Minutes. Balancing this with proper Positioning. Harassing Enemies and Zoning them from CSing. (Bot. matches are a good place to practice; try No Masteries, and No Runes to make it challenging. Last hit EVERY minion you can to avoid shoving your lane up too early, thus leaving you more open to ganks.)
If possible, widen your champion pool with ADC's; Tristana, Corki, Graves, Kalista, Lucian and Varus are some good champs to check out. You'll have a better chancing countering your enemies weakness' or avoid giving them an advantage during laning phase or for team fights.
Map Awareness is huge, sometimes you may be the one to have to split push. Just ALWAYS keep an eye on your Mini-Map, make sure you can see at least 3 enemies on it before doing any sort of serious roaming.
I highly suggest switching to the Scrying Orb Trinket after your first or second "B" back to base, use your ward trinket during laning phase to ward river to avoid ganks, or lane bushes. The reason is, it allows you to quickly searching a BIG circle area around you for some Vision for a few seconds. -- Trust me when I say it's way better than face-checking a bush to place a ward and running into the whole enemy team as an ADC. Squishy, and right in their faces. . GG. I've been saving or saved teammates so many times by using the Scrying Orb on a bush ahead of us to see the entire enemy team waiting for us.
Stick to only buying Pink Wards and placing them in SMART areas, try to keep at least one pink on the map at all times to help with vision control. Only 100 gold.
IDK how your positioning is during team fights, but you generally wanna stay behind your front-line (Tanks/Initiators) and using your abilities and poking/CCing as much as you can while keeping yourself out of harm's way.
Your item build is gonna have to be flexible, depending on how your game is going and who you're up against, I suggest checking Google/Mobafire to find some good ideas and builds. Also find some good Rune and Mastery set-ups too.
Always try to punish your enemy while in the laning phase while they try to CS by attacking them with an auto-attack, then quickly backing off to avoid taking damage yourself.
YouTube has a LOT of good videos for tips/Guides/Strategies to improve your ADC play. Also I suggest watching some pros like: Sneaky from C9 or Doublelift from CLG on Twitch.tv and study them. - But of course, PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!
Even if you get REALLY fed and start to carry, NEVER get too cocky and over-confident and throw the advantage you have. I see it happen way too often and games are thrown. Always try to stick with your team when taking objectives/Towers.
Learn to rotate between different lanes when possible to pressure the lanes and shove the minion waves as far as you can safely without being caught out of position. Usually distracting the enemy to come clear it, or you can bait a fight with it, giving you time to regroup ad take objectives or go shove another lane. Always try to assume they're on their way to come gank you and stay one step ahead of them.
Best of luck to you, hope you use the tool of the internet to your disposal and get a lot better. Just keep up the practice and do your homework.
A WINNER IS YOU
