Autofill is the worst thing Riot has ever made. Is there any way to disable it or something. I main Mid and Adc and this stupid **** forces me to play support all the time. Riot remove this its the worst thing you could possably do.

I'd like a better explanation about it from Riot! so they are just throwing bronze players into roles they don't want? Because of Que times? At most bronze takes 10 min and that's including 5 afk checks and 2 dodges. There should be no reason to autofill bronze. If they are auto filling bronze into higher ranked games, I feel sorry for anyone above silver 2 that gets a bronze autofill.... id be pissed if they did that to me

i also agree autofill in ranked is stupid because u want to win and if ppl get stuck in a lane they don't want to play they dodge and or feed and it leave me stuck in elo hell.... every other game is either a afk or feeder because they get stuck in a position they didn't want. using this in normal is a good idea to make ppl learn other lanes, but not forced apon u in ranked games.....

I think that autofill is the absolute STUPIDEST THING EVER! Like i play Top and ADC right? So I get into game and i find out that i have to waste time in my day to play the role that I hate the absolute most, Support kills self. It should ask you if you would like to wait longer to play a game or be put into autofill which really you could just use fill if you don't mind what you play but to make everyone play the role is absolutely retarded. Every game that I had to play support i pissed off the ADC but accidentally KSing because I just hate the role and forget i am it because I would NEVER pick it. Today alone i was forced to play it 4 F***ING TIMES and I am beginning to really hate riot for making me do this crap.

I rather wait an hour to play jungle as a jungle main over playing 5 games of mid/support that I don't even know how to do and have no desire to do.

So my situation is this. I'm silver 3 now, and I've climbed up from Bronze 4 in 2 weeks, (blew my placements trying to help friends). I can theoretically play in any role, however, there are only 2 lanes which I'm confident in, and only 1 lane that I have enough experience and champions for to understand who to take. With Autofill, I often get roles I'm not strong in, or that I can't do well enough to help carry, or even usually help. Worse though is when OTHER people get auto filled. It makes a mess of queue as people dodge or rage or go toxic or feed, or pick ridiculous and selfish things like a full ap mid laner as support/ adc. It's a mess. I agree that it should be on for norms, because people need to learn new roles, but in ranked? Let people carry with what we are PAYING for and Putting Our Time Into. Please.

Autofill should be removed entirely, it is a terrible idea. I'd rather wait an extra 2 minutes to play what I want rather than be forced to do something I hate for 30.
