Why is Yasuo's windwall worthless against Lux?
It doesn't block her ult or her AoE slow orb (when it's in flight.) You can only block her snare. What's the point?

Nevermind the fact that critting Lux with a single auto attack basically kills her.
Why is Yasuo's shield worthless against Lux?
Did you, by chance, mean to refer to Yasuo's Windwall (W) instead of his shield (Passive)?
Because Yasuo's passive shield procs when he takes (champion or monster) damage.

Far as I know it should block her E. She can however land the orb before you wall and you'll get hit by the AoE. Since the AoE isn't a projectile.
Her ult isn't a projectile so it's not going to stop it.
It does blocks her Q & E. But not her ult, since it is an insta-cast.
Her ult isn't a projectile, for one. You can block her W too, it wont return to her for the second shield. E can be blocked, you'd have to be too slow with the wall.
Whaddya mean? It triggers on all of her abilites, once they do damage.
Stops 3 out of 4 abilities: 'worthless'.
