Anivia Feels Weak.

I don't have a crazy amount of points on Anivia like most one tricks would but she is my most played champion. I've played quite a few mid matchups and overall Anivia just doesnt feel up to par with most champs anymore. I'm not asking for everything about her to change but maybe some minor buffs could help her quite a bit. Trying to stay relative to her Ice Phoenix stature, a small passive buff could be to attack speed slow enemies that auto you in Eggnivia form. Maybe to not take away her armor and mr stats in egg form, maybe speed up her q because honestly it just moves so slow. I understand that Anivia is a mid-late game control mage however its hard to get there when early game matters so much now a days. In all honesty her ultimate isn't really something to fear, even as a late game champ I've had champions just sit in it and spam emotes because it is kind of a joke. If a champion zhonya and you place r under them they can flash out before any damge is even applied (not even the double damage for her e is applied). This is my opinion and I know others have theirs but I beleive Anivia is good for some kind of buff.

Please let me know if others agree or disagree, im curious to see where others stand.

If Anivia is good, people might play her When she's good, she can shut out mobile mages and assassins, and we can't have that. They are the biggest base for skin sales after all.

I just wish she didn't need to chew through mana like a fat kid in candy store so early in the game. Even with a tear, she so mana hungry. If that doesn't work, then perhaps a never-happening-rework will do.

I have 2m+ mastery on her Plat 1 100lp Peak Season 8 and the problem is when Anivia is Strong she is an oppresive force, There are otp's that still play her in Masters +. But in her current state she shouldnt get a buff because shes already oppresive up to Plat 3 from personal experience esp. in the lower elos below Gold 3. She just needs a rework.

If people are standing in your ult spamming emotes and treating it like a joke, then you're way behind or not building the right items. People die in Anivia ult, very easily.

Just make her ult not so easy to stop and she would be viable... a simple silence or stun/knockup ending her ult is just devastating for her. Also she should be able to cancel her wall if someone dashes/flashes over it.

Making her AAs do AS slow would just push her down to the support role.

Side note, I don’t think she needs buffs persay meta just needs to change to be slower, she has the tools in her kit to be good and at the point where someone uses zhonya and flash to escape your spammable ultimate, I would count that as a win personally

I've noticed that (ex anivia main, mind you- i started EndishS9 and dropped her S10. been playing nonstop since) no matter how fed Anivia is, she can't carry.

Whether im 15-3, the enemy anivia is 20-2, she lacks the carry potential as i've seen dozens of these kinds of games where anivia still lost the fight.

i think the root is that all of her damage comes from her E and R. E requires you to land Q or have a fully set up R. Against the mobility champs in this game, landing either of these things is hard. Compare this to someone like Ryze, arguably similar champion, he can do a full combo twice on multiple champs in the time it takes for you to do one combo if you're lucky on ONE champion. Nevermind her Q is a high CD, so half the time you're reliant on waiting for R to fully form before getting the most of your damage potential through your E. i think support anivia might be better, since she seems much more consistent in that role.

I don't think she's all that good right now, but she isn't bad either. When you face really good Zed/Fizz/Kass one tricks tho, life is absolutely miserable....

The problem with simple balanced champions, like Anivia and Orianna, is that nearly every champion in the meta has more going on in their kit, giving them more tools in their kit than simple champions.

Unfortunately the solution is to either juice their numbers until they are stat sticks that beat tools with overwhelming numbers, or to rework them and add more tools to their kit.
