Dynamic que not working as intended(I hope)

Hello I recently had a discussion with riot support and they asked me to make a forum post to perhaps get attention from someone who can do something about my issue.

At the time I submitted my ticket for support In the last 36 games of solo Q I had played on my two accounts I had a total of 32 support games and 4 Jungle. Now the problem with that is Jungle was always listed as my primary role. It is not okay to give me my secondary role 32 times and main role 4 times regardless of how underplayed my secondary role is. At first the support staff told me I should lie and put another role as my secondary to avoid getting support so often but I told them this was wrong and not okay for the health of the game and a new person responded agreeing with me and asking me to post on the forums.

My suggestion is to allow us to select as many roles as we want for que. If I want to only play jungle I understand I may have to wait in que a little longer and I accept that. Or maybe put some effort into the system and allow us to decide at what point we want the que to take into account our secondary and beyond role.

An example I would select Jungle as my main role with a 5 min timer so the que system would try for 5 mins to put me in a game as a jungle and at that point if it had not found me a game it would take into account my secondary role and then put me into the soonest available game.

I have been a Jungle main at high elo for 5 years and now I am unable to play solo Q as my other skill sets are not up to par. I may be a beast jungle but put me against a five year top lane main as a top and I will lose.

Please fix this riot.

(Also let us view our champion pool during champion selection please this seems pretty basic to me but somehow you missed this).

Thank you, Rhia.

Utility Backline2/14/2016, 5:38:15 AM2 votes

That is absolutely unacceptable. This sounds to me like the system is not doing its job to find you your primary role. That's just stupid. This just makes me happy that I made the switch from being defined by Riot's standards of "roles". I only play utility backline champions, and refuse to let Riot define me as a "support" because I don't identify as a support. Now with dynamic queue out, I am happier than ever that I made this lifestyle change, and I couldn't be happier. I am a utility backliner! Not a support top jung mid or bot! So Riot might currently control what lane I am FORCED to go to when minions spawn, but they will never control what champions I play. And if they try, I'll call out their hypocrisy and rebel against their forced labels. You should pick fill, and play the champs that you want to play, and go into the jungle regardless!

Hope this helps! See you on the rift!
