here's why i'm quitting your sh1tty game riot:

the new matchmaking system.

your old matchmaking system is already whack, i had collected data where in a span of 50 games of ranked, the number of times where my team_draws the first blood vs. the # of times enemy draws the first blood.

Now in a normal circumstance, the chance should be 50/50 meaning ~25 times out of 50 games my team draws the 1st blood; but guess what, that real number was 34 for the enemy and 16 for my team. I know this does not conclude that the matchmaking system is BIASED against specifically towards me but it indicates something is seriously favoring towards certain players (smurfs and you duo q'ers). How do I know this? I'm a former platinum soloQ that have trouble winning matches in silver on this acct.; and not only that, I'm literally in range of bronze! My conclusion: your ranking system is sh1t.

With the advent of the new matchmaking system; things seem to have taken turn for theworse. Not only does the matchmaker still gives me sh1tty teams but now the amount of time it takes to assemble a team has increased IN MULTIPLES. I'm not sure what Riot wants but I hope this is the beginning of the fall or your beloved cash cow known as League of Legos.

That's a little dramatic.

First off, you can never predict who is going to get first blood. Saying it should be 50/50 is like saying we should all get a million dollars; nice to say, but beyond the realm of possibility. There are nine other people in the game besides you. First Blood relies on cunning, coordination, and yeah even screw-ups.

And as far as the new match-making goes, if you read the patch notes then you'd know that they pushed it out as a test on the 14th. They need to collect large-scale data to help them iron out the kinks and remove the bugs. A little patience would do you well here. Yes, sometimes it takes a while to run (but a lot of that is people people don't lock in bans and picks, which autokicks them and puts everyone else back in queue), but it works pretty well. Sometimes you get folks way above your MMR, but those things happen from time to time anyways. Give it a little bit and it'll smooth out.

The one constant in the 50/50 equation is you. Maybe you were the one who tilted the scales in favor of the enemy team to give them first blood. Maybe if you were as good as you say you are, you should of got FB 3/4 of the time.

More than 27 million people play multiplayer online battle arena game League of Legends on a daily basis, developer Riot Games announced today. According to Riot, that number is more than double its last figure, announced in October 2012, of 12 million. Approximately 67 million players log time on a monthly basis. Tell me again why you're important?
