IS it just me or do my masteries feel alittle weak now?

The beginning of preseason my mastaries were helping me kick ass and stuff I had more power in more of my attacks and spells and now when the new season started i tried them out and it feels soo much weaker then they were before like they feel practically useless tbh and I'm just trying to figure out whether or not something was changed here or something
