Annoying Gameplay
First of all let me preface this by saying that I just came back to league about a month ago after not playing for about 3 years. Even at my peak 3 years ago I wasn't that great, losing my promos into gold.
Moreover, I'm not one to flame in chat. I'm typically rather chipper in chat. I'll get mad at the game sometimes, but even then I just stop typing in chat and maybe harumph a bit. Not the best for team communication, I know, but I prefer that over yelling at my teammates.
However, I recently played three games that were particularly annoying to me. One against a Katarina, one against a Master Yi, and one against a Singed. The reason that these three games annoyed me was simple: there was nothing I could do. If I die because I'm too far up, or because I just play badly, or even if it's just because of my slow reflexes I try to learn from it and move on. But against Kat her shunpo made it impossible to land my q(I was Malz) and even though I could ult her my team didn't have the damage to back it up because we were so far behind.
Against Yi (again I was Malz) his invulnerability frames made it impossible to land my ult. If he q'd and I ulted at the same time he wouldn't be stunned and my ult would go on cooldown. Plus my ult's cooldown was a lot longer than his q's.
When I payed against Singed it was in an URF match. Which is fine, I enjoy URF. But he got far enough ahead that he could chase me to my tower and just flip me every couple seconds making it impossible to run away. I would only be able to get off a spell or two before I would get flipped again, and my spells would sometimes get cancelled mid animation from the flip (I was Cass this time).
So my question is simple, how do you deal with the games where you can't do anything? Is there the "You can always do something" mindset? Just a simple "Surrender at 20"? Or is there some other way that you all make it through those kinds of games? And please don't answer with, "I blame my teammates."
Thanks, all.
