Aurelion Sol is going to be the next Ekko
Intended for mid to be built AP with a little survivability but going to be a tank jungler.
He looks pretty cool though and is pretty unqiue.

From what I read he was supposed to be a tanky ap person, so I think he will one aswell. It would be dumb of them to make a short ranged, dps, non gap closer/little CC champion, without tankyness. He would do absolutely nothing against any of the damage champions (as they would blow him up from afar, or get in close and destroy him). The only ones that I think that he could take without being able to work as an ap tank are

, but only if they did not build damage... So seeing as he is an dps damage dealer(not a burst champ), and short ranged, he needs tanky stats in order to be relevant.
Unlike Ekko where if you remove his tankyness, he becomes a assassin with a gap closer, a stun/shield, and a emergency retreat panic button.
He has bad clears so i doubt it.
