Demoting from Silver V to Bronze I

How do you demote from Silver V to Bronze I? Not that I want to though, I just want to know what I should avoid to not get demoted a tier.

I do not believe that you can get demoted to Bronze once you are in silver. Your mmr may continue to drop and you will be arranged with bronze players in games. When next season provisionals start you will be more likely to be placed into bronze due to having bronze mmr in silver league.

If I remember this right, you sit at Silver 5 with zero LP and if you consistently lose to the point where your MMR is equivalent to Bronze 5 and you drop a into the lower bracket, but only in bronze 1. Your MMR has to tank to a full bracket lower to drop out of a tier. The same is true for every bracket up to Diamond, but at Masters and Challenger the requirements are different.
