Mastery Pages

Recently I've hit my twentieth Champion Mastery page, and I found out I cant make any more; I think that we should be allowed to make as many mastery pages as we want, because I'd like to think that some players, or maybe a decent amount like to play a large variety of different Champions, and some champions have different lanes that they can play, one player would be able to get as many pages for as many champions that they know. I'd totally be fine with buying extra mastery pages, just like rune pages, but I don't want a maximum amount.

What? This is news to me. I am a tester. I just tried adding Mastery pages and it stopped letting me at 20. Unless the cap is planned to raise in the future? That is news to me.

I merely just saw the "Alpha Tester" page-thing, and the picture in the back with Ashe getting locked in said "Mastery Page 21" or something. It was quite a while ago.

Yeah having more pages would be nice, but a lot of pages can be multi-use and it's easier than before to swap talents without resetting a full tree too.

This is true, but personally I like to customize a tree for each champ who I think is necessarily different than another tree.

I own 21 champs, and I do sometimes use other trees for champs, seeing as I make a tree for a different role of a champ if I see it necessary.

hmm how much does riot have to invest in the extra data stored for all these endless number of mastery pages for 75million people?

i dont see the need for more then 20 not how the mastery system is. hell i barely use 8-12 of them

For starters, this doesn't necessarily apply to you, and secondly; I said that I would be fine with having to pay for more pages, the same as rune pages, in fact I'd expect them to make it into a purchasable if they did. And lastly, people like you, people with only a few pages or anything under 20, don't need to buy them. So it wouldn't be like every single player had tons of extra pages, only people who like to play a lot of champs.

it applies to everyone and i have 20 full mastery pages and 20 full rune pages. i said even having 20 of them i only use 8-12 of them , meaning of the rest of the ones i have i typically dont use that often cuz the 8-12 ones i do use will cover nearly of all champs i play.

and finally the statement regarding data space and for the endless amount of rune pages/masteries for the player base is part of why we do or dont have it. if i was a company and i would have to project the cost of doing something before i could make it happen. now if they invest in that infrastructure is it gonna be worth their effort will it get people to buy more runes pages, mastery pages ect? cuz if they spend lets say 3million to do so any they project that it will only increase sales by $500,000 then as a company they wouldnt see the benefit and it wouldnt be cost effective for them.

You can easily edit a mastery page in champion select, just know what your champion needs.

I am in agreement, that we should have more than 20. I have shared masteries and I have some that are one champ only due to slight differences. I could use at least 30 mastery pages as of now.
