Better in top lane. Her q, does % magic damage which is really good against tanks. Just get magic pen and she should shred through tanks

Her Q is what was nerfed, which is basically her only lane tool. She's more planted in jungle than she's ever been, IMO. She doesn't have the AoE burst/utility required in mid, nor the tankiness highly suggested in top nowadays. She also doesn't rely on her spiderlings for sustain, so tanking with them doesn't drop your healing. You want to play an assassin in those lanes, you'd be better with someone who can make second passes for ganks or has strength after spent, such as AD champs like Talon/Zed, or low cooldown power with a Zhonya kicker like Fizz/Akali/Ekko.

I take out irelia and zed first blood on top Lane. I did so much math on her build.
