Darius Ult: Deceiving Information?

Darius

As it says, Darius' ult does 100/200/300 + 75% Bonus AD as true damage, increasing by 20% for each stack of Hemorrhage on the target, stacking up to a 100% increase at 5 stacks. However, the max damage in the tooltip (without extra AD) says 249 max damage at rank 1. This is 2.49x the base damage, not 2x. I had done some math, and it appears that the stacks of Hemorrhage apply additional damage multiplicitavely (1.2^5=2.488...), not additively(1+.2*5=2.0). Thoughts on how this has affected gameplay and the raging about darius ult doing more damage than they thought? Should the tooltip be adjusted appropriately?

edit.: never mind.

the damage youre missing comes from his passive. at level 1 it gives him 40 bonus ad when he has 5 stacks on any target. so naturally that needs to be factored into the max damage of his ult.

40*1.5 = 60 damage more on his ult.

edit: took out & fixed some grammar.

That makes sense to me, idk why you said never mind. I just thought that the passive damage is only added in after the passive is activated, i never thought of it that way. Still seems a bit fishy tho. Maybe they could put a passive affect that others could see on Darius that, similarly to smite, shows the amount of damage it will deal (at max Hemorrhage or without any, one of the two). I play darius a lot to get freelo for my promos right now, and I still think he should have something like this to at least somewhat give the opponent an idea on how op his ult is at any given moment.

why fishy? the tooltip states the maximum damage of the ult. the maximum damage happens at 5 stacks, so automatically when his passive triggered and he gains bonus ad. of course that needs to be factored in.

and i said never mind, because i wrote something else before that turned out wrong when i looked it up. just in case you read it. so... never mind :)

This is just me being extra picky, and I think that it was very smart for Riot to include his passive already in the max damage of his ult, but it doesn't count in % increases in AD that apply to the passive, like dragon buff. That's what I meant by fishy. But, again, that's just picky, and would require a lot too much very little some unknown amount of work from Riot's programmers, but it would still be useful to factor in everything, not just his passive. P.S.: I am super okay with how the tooltip works right now, and don't think that it needs the other outside sources factored in, just an idea that would be cool if it were to happen.

oh, well. if its missing bonus ad from dragon, then that should get fixed.

Passive. His ult is shit tier around lv 6-8 but level 9 is when he deals around the same amount of damage as old Darius.
