Thoughts on New Leblanc

While I don't like new Leblanc, this isn't about raging. I'm just curious how people feel about her change of play style. I understand that going against a fed LeBlanc with her q r oneshotting squishies. But I wished they'd done something like making the back half of the q do more damaging making her ult damage in a q r combo far less without actually hitting the e. Or even making her e amplify the q's mark damage and weakening q's damage outside of it. I don't like the style she has now especially late game where it's just spamming w and e to try and snare people since you can't kill anyone solo by then. I guess it's sorta balanced in the sense she's busted early game and fairly weak late. Though I don't like her even more dominate early game than she already had. I don't mind the w delay. Sucks but can learn to live with it. Since all the damage was moved to her passive so her kit feels odd. Not too much point in using w or e (whiched u didn't use to proc it) when your passive is down. Q is fine since it's cd is the same.

I hear some really like her new play style. I just haven't found it fun yet. While it will take awhile to learn her against because she is a far different champ now. So it's possible once I fully understand her I might enjoy it. But I just loved trying to go in and assassinate someone without dying. But I was wondering how others felt about her and her kit as well as her balance. Things like what you like about old/new lb and what you think would make her better/more balanced. Try to be polite plz. Maybe someone can help me enjoy new lb too lol.

New LB is strong. Very very very strong. She has so many options early on to pop sigil and make the laner absolutely miserable. But like you said she falls short late game and can't really 'assassinate' anymore, and becomes kind of a mage/assassin hybrid thing like Ahri.

Late game if she can't reliably land chain she can W forward -> Q .. RQ and chunk out a huge portion of anyone's hp with next to no risk. If you -do- land a chain, its usually a death sentence. In teamfights, the best possible combo you can do is W on top of multiple targets (preferrably stunned), blink back, then RQ and start the bouncing, it will do a -shit ton- of dmg to everyone hit, because they are taking ~700 HP dmg late game from the Q, plus 300 + 80% AP from sigil, so potentially another 700 HP dmg, PLUS whatever W damage from the first mark.

New LB is a potential penta kill machine. Group her with Malphite/Amumu for best results.

She is currently a perma-ban in ranked, so I wouldn't recommend playing her at all until she gets nerfed. She also takes practice to do well with her after laning ends or you might mess up your combos and die. If you W forward and hit mimic, thinking you can Q them but they are out of range - you're stuck in mimic mode and can't W back to your pad, which can get you killed, and it's an easy mistake to make.
