Advice to all low elo players.

If you're stuck in low elo and want to start climbing ranks fast, here's some helpful advice for you.

-Stop Blaming If you're not able to climb, it's no one's fault but your own. Stop blaming bad teams and saying it's impossible to carry them. Sure there are the occasional afk's/trolls but even so, out of the hundreds of games you play they are not the reason you have not climbed.

-Stop Making up Excuses I literally just read a post by another user saying how AP Alistar is the reason why he can't get out of bronze. It's not a certain champion's fault that you can't get climb and it's not matchmakings fault that you are stuck in low elo. Nothing matters except for the fact that it's your own fault you can't climb.

-You're low elo Being low elo means you are BAD at this game. You have A LOT to improve on and you need to realize this. If you think you did everything perfect in a game but your team was just so bad you couldn't win, congrats, you're doing it WRONG. The moment you think you have done everything perfectly is the moment you put yourself in elo hell forever. When you don't acknowledge that you could have performed better, this is when you stop improving. (Yes you can still lose an occasional game going 1000/0/0 but this SHOULD NOT be a factor in why you are stuck.)

-KDA Does not mean everything It's good to have an amazing KDA but with terrible decision making, you will go close to nowhere. Stop boasting about your KDA and focus on how you can make better decisions throughout the whole game. One example of terrible decision making that low elo players have is that they want to continuously fight over and over again while ignoring important objectives. And god does low elo players have HORRIBLE item builds. Getting an amazing KDA but building non efficient items is just as bad as feeding and not getting any items at all. You lose your potential to carry if you waste gold on items that don't maximize your champion's strengths.

After everything, if you want to climb you have to focus on improving yourself. Every excuse you make or find to blame your inability to climb is complete BULLSHIT. Nothing holds you back except yourself and your ego that blinds you from improving.

Except outside of basic logic of what a rank is, this provides zero help. I mean you are pressuming that all low-elo are just balls of ego that troll or what not, but that is a pretty bland thought. My guess is you played a game with a low elo recently. Is that it?

No, real advice would be to something along the lines of synergizing with your teammates, learning champions and their counters, picking up different varieties of champions, learning situational itemization, and so on.

as a silver player i know im bad at the game, yet i do tend to blame my team more than i should. probably because im astounded that Riot can find players who are worse than me.

Meanwhile these types of post says nothing about how to do things the right way, which is not helpful considering that I want to improve and I can't really see my not-so-obvious mistakes.
