In game options menu
So, I have a proposition. Maybe this is something you're already working on, but in case you aren't, I wanted to post my thoughts on here. The in game options menu is useful, but it can get in the way of the game. Would you create a preview screen from which the summoner could use before even going into a game where he/she could enable HUD animations, change the graphics quality and frame rate, etc? The graphic quality is something that really needs to be enabled outside of a game. For some, changing the settings will take quite a few seconds or even minutes. That's time where they should be either getting into lane or helping out their team. Something there's no other choice but to change it within game, so keeping the options menu there is a must, but also being about to change these important aspects outside of a game and getting to preview how it would work in game would be helpful.
When I say, "preview," I mean a preview preview. If they want to increase graphics, they should be able to run around with a preselected champion for a few minutes and see how much lag they experience as well as simply testing out What The Fast and any software similar that may do the same in the future. They should be able to test rather or not they experience lag during a recording session. The should be able to go to and from colorblind mode and HUD animations. The should be able to test everything, so they know what will be best for the optimal gaming experience. This should also test things depending upon how far away from a server. In a bot game, maybe it's just me, but I experience much less lag. There should be things that test how someone like me, who lives in Mississippi, would experience lag or lack thereof in a PVP game.
If you could consider this if you aren't already working on it, that would be great. I'd be happy just know that you considered it. Thank you, and have a nice day!
