Some Hypothetical Jungle Questions

What if Smite was removed and the strength/exp/gold of the jungle camps was adjusted accordingly? Do you think the jungle would see more or less diversity? Why?

Now for the other extreme--what if you got to start with one of the upgraded jungle items ( ) instead of a hunter's machete? How do you think that would influence viable jungle options? What new strategies might appear?

One final idea to ponder: what if the basic Smite was replaced by the Blasting Smite from Ranger's Trailblazer? Would that prove too overbearing for junglers with already above-average clear times? Would it allow slower-clearing junglers to compete with early-game duelists or invaders? How would it affect the overall health of the jungle?
