Demacia has taken over Rito...
It becomes increasingly clear that the powers of Demacia control Rito Gaems, and their aim is to eliminate Noxian influence.
Slowly. Methodically. But it's happening. The pillars of Noxus are being banished from the Fields of Justice.
The removal of the lore may suggest the Demacians are not at work on shifting the Rift. Do not be fooled-- the absence of lore is one of Demacia's tools in its Rito bag of tricks.
It began small, with Talon. He was their test case-- take a less popular champion, and hurt him. The fairly small (though Talon mains would likely disagree on that point) nerf--removing his silence--has distanced him further from any influence he might have had.
Then Ritomacia came out swinging. They went after the Couteau sisters. Cassiopeia was first-- she was not altogether common on the Rift, but when she excelled, she could shut others down. Lane bully, they called her. So they did to her what Ramsey Bolton did to Theon Greyjoy-- step by painful step, they obliterated her identity, leaving only a shell of what was once Cassiopeia du Couteau.
She now roams the fields (when she rarely appears), spouting Stashu's decrees that were forced upon her.
Next is Katarina du Couteau. She is a tougher target, being popular with the summoners. But after an initial round of pre-emptive nerfs (presumably to soften her up), the Ritomacian forces have banded together to cripple her and rid her of all influence permanently. Where Cassiopeia served as an example of what they could do to a champion's identity, Katarina will serve as an example of their sheer nerfing power.
She is doomed to join the lowest of low tiers, embodied by yet another noxian, Urgot. Even here Ritomacia determines that Noxus shall represent all that is bad, weak, and undesirable.
Who will be next? As the Couteaus fall, no Noxian is safe.
Beware the work of Ritomacia.
