Flex Matchmaking

Alright, so I get that many dont take flex seriously, but there is still a huge problem. Everytime I want to play some flex with me and my silver friends every other game we get matched against people who are platinum+, even faced some master players, and all because they are silver or gold in flex when their actual soloQ ranks are much higher. Will riot ever look into fixing this problem?

they wont look into it because its actually not even a problem. that is in fact working as intended, as weird as it sounds.

flex matchmaking, normals matchmaking, and solo/duo matchmaking all have a seperate MMR, and will match you regardless of your performance in the other two. people who dont play flex often, will of course, have a low flex mmr, thus why they matched with you.

personally i always believed there should be some kind of buffer because matching a master vs a bronze is obviously not going to go well. so i always thought if your ranked solo/duo is a certian rank, it should add a buffer so you can only be matched about 1-2 ranks lower.
