Why can Zed go back to his shadow whilst under cc

I was playing Sion the other day when I ulted Zed on mid and he just hopped back to his shadow. Now I think it's great to have mobile champs, really. But being able to just use your 10sec Shadow for my 2minute ulti is kinda ridiculous. I think it's more fair if you cc a champion that means not reactivating an existing spell too.

That's ability lag, it's with everyone. It takes a fraction of a second for the server to register things, so if the timing is perfect you'll hit Zed after he's told the game to teleport to his shadow, but before it's happened.

if you actually hit him, he will be cc'd. its kinda like where pantheon uses his w, as someone dashes, and they become cc'd but still move the dashes duration. it happens when they dash while getting hit.

Zed cannot go back to his shadow while CC'd what you encountered was ability lag.
